Ordination and Installation of Camden Bucey

The congregation of Hope Presbyterian Church and the Presbytery of the Midwest (OPC) invite you to the ordination and installation service of Camden Bucey as the pastor of Hope Presbyterian Church. The service will be held on Friday, April 26th at 7:30 p.m. at the church, and refreshments will follow.

Camden Bucey is originally from Stillman Valley, Illinois, and earned his bachelor and master degrees from Bradley University (Peoria, IL)  in 2002 (Business Computer Systems) and 2004 (Business Administration), respectively. From 2004-2007 he worked as an IT Analyst at Caterpillar in Peoria. He then turned his attention toward earning at Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia, PA), where he is now a candidate for the PhD in Historical and Theological Studies. Camden was licensed by the Presbytery of Philadelphia and most recently served as pastoral intern at Bethel OPC (Wheaton, IL). He has participated in multiple ministries in the presbyteries of Philadelphia, New Jersey, and the Midwest. He is also the President and Founder of Reformed Forum, an organization that produces Reformed theological resources. He successfully sustained his ordination examinations before the Presbytery of the Midwest (OPC) on March 15, 2013.

Camden and his wife, Erica, have been married since 2004, and God has blessed them with a son, Derek (19 months). Their second child is expected in September. Erica earned a degree in Public Relations from Bradley University and worked at gospel rescue missions in Peoria and Philadelphia. She supports Camden’s ministry by providing hospitality, caring for their family, and encouraging Camden. In addition, Erica has served on women’s leadership committees and coordinated women’s Bible studies.
