You’re invited to a family Cookie Decorating Party at Hope OPC on Saturday, December 16th at 10am.
We will be decorating cookies and preparing a meal to take to the residents at Hope House (a shelter for women and children).
Royal icing and sugar sprinkles will be provided. Please bring 2 dozen cookies to decorate and share. If you would like to take cookies home, then please bring additional cookies. You may also bring additional cookie decorating toppings if you wish.
If you are looking for a good sugar cookie recipe, this one is recommend for decorating with royal icing: Cut-out Sugar Cookies. Cookies can be made in advance and frozen.
For the meal, we will prepare a lunch on Saturday the 16th, and it will be delivered on Sunday the 17th. We will make Pasta e Fagioli crockpot soup, salad, and bread. Please sign up to bring an item for preparing the meal. We are planning to make extra soup and salad to eat for lunch on Saturday after decorating the cookies.
