The Youth Committee of the Presbytery of The Midwest has planned a canoe trip on the Flambeau River in Northern Wisconsin, July 15-19, for high school and college age youth. (Middle school youth will be allowed to come on a select basis.) Camp Lundgren Staff is arranging the trip and a member of our presbytery will provide the teaching.
Details: Arrive at Camp Lundgren Monday evening, orientation Tuesday morning, travel to launching area later that day; canoeing and camping Tuesday through Friday morning, returning to Camp Lundgren and home Friday afternoon. Camp Lundgren is located in Pembine, WI north of Green Bay. The cost will be approximately $200. This includes canoes, tents, food, and transportation to and from launching area on the Flambeau River, which is about 150 miles west of Camp Lundgren.
